Attention, K-Drama fans: pay attention! 2021has come to an end, and with the arrival of the new year of 2022, there will be a slew of iintriguing rewind stories to look forward to! We understand that the sheer number of K-Dramas that are being released might be daunting, so we decided to compile a list of our top 10 must watch 2021 kdrama to look out for in the new year. Each and every one of them seems to be much too excellent to pass up, thus they are all on our radar.
Youth.
Army must be the ones that are most looking forward to this one, we know that! This play will be a fictitious recounting of the origin of the Boy Scouts of America. Recently, further facts regarding the drama have been revealed, including the fact that it will not include any of the BTS members' identities and that it will begin production very soon. Seven lads will be followed as they navigate through life as they grow up and strive to achieve their goals. All we know is that the cast seems to be very stunning, and that is without a doubt! Seo Jihoon, Ahn Ji Hoon, Jung Woo Jin, Kim Yoon Woo, Noh Jong Hyun, Seo Young Joo, and Jeon Jin Seo star in this film. Mouse Mouse is supposed to be a gripping thriller that will revolve on the topic, "What if we had a way to identify psychopaths before they struck?" As Jung Ba Reum, a novice police officer, we will be following Lee Seung Gi's progress through the series. He will come face to face with a violent maniac, and his life will begin to alter dramatically as a result of this encounter. Even though there isn't a lot of information about this drama out there just yet, the idea seems really thrilling, and we are suckers for a good mystery thriller! Lee Seung Gi, Kang Soo Jin, Lee Hee Joon, and Park Joo Hyun star in this drama.
Dear M.
What do you think, M. NCTZENs? Are you ready for Jae Hyun's acting debut? As the idol's first drama part, we are beyond thrilled to have him on our screens! Dear M. is a collegiate play that is currently being performed at Seoyeon University. The story will revolve on the hunt for 'Mister M,' who has gone missing after making some anonymous postings on the SU's online forum. Throughout the course of the hunt, the actors will experience a variety of life events as well as genuine love relationships. This sounds like it's too fantastic to pass up! Park Hye Soo, Jung Jae Hyun, Bae Hyun Sung, Roh Jeong Eui, Lee Jin Hyuk are among the cast members.
Snowdrop
This is had to be one of the most highly anticipated dramas of the year 2021! Snowdrop will mark the long-awaited acting debut of BLACKPINK's Ji Soo in the lead role, and will be released on December 21st. She will be starring with well-known K-Drama actors, and the premise of the drama has piqued the interest of viewers. This drama will take place in Seoul in 1987 and will center on the love tale of the main characters. Jung Hae In, in the role of Im Soo Ho, runs into Eun Young Cho's (Ji Soo's) room, covered in blood, and she tends to his wounds while he is away at school. This drama's release date has been the subject of much conjecture, and although nothing has been confirmed, we expect to see it in the first half of 2021! Jung Hae In, Kim Ji Soo, Yoon Se Ah, Kim Hye Yoon, Jang Seung Jo, Jung Yoo Jin, and Yoo In Na are among the cast members.
She Would Never Know
It has been a long time coming, but we are now getting to see our buddy Rowoon in a leading role again! In this play, a senior and junior employee's working relationship at a beauty brand corporation is explored. Rowoon will play the part of the younger brother of Won Jin Ah. Yoon Song Ah (Won Jin Ah) has an ambition of starting her own cosmetics brand, and Chae Hyun Seung (Rowoon) is there to help her achieve that goal. The teaser for this drama is simply stunning, and we are beyond delighted to kick off the new year with this lighthearted romantic drama! Won Jin Ah, Lee Joo Bin, Ro Woon, and Lee Hyun Wook are among the cast members.
River Where The Moon Rises
Although we cannot deny that we have a soft place for Kim Ji Soo, the guy has provided fans with drama after drama, each of which has been a treat to watch! River Where The Moon Rises, a historical romantic drama based on a legendary Goguryeo folktale, will see him return as the male protagonist for the first time in his career. Pyeonggang, played by Kim So Hyun, aspires to become the first female leader of Goguryeo, and she will enlist the help of On Dal, played by Kim Ji Soo, to accomplish this aim. Despite the fact that this drama seems fantastic and adds something different to the normal historical Joseon period K-Dramas, we cannot wait to watch it! Kim So Hyun, Kim Ji Soo, Lee Ji Hoon, and Choi Yoo Hwa star in this film.
Love Alarm
Unfortunately, the second season of Love Alarm on Netflix has been postponed and will hopefully be on our screens in 2021, rather than 2020 as previously anticipated. It is imperative that we know how the drama will continue after the season one cliffhanger! If you haven't already, now is the chance to catch up on the first season. Kim So Hyun, Song Kang, Jung Ga Ram, and Go Min Shi star in this film.
Hospital playlist
A huge success both in Korea and worldwide, the first season of Hospital Playlist was a huge success. All of the individuals, their chemistry, and the relationships/friendships between them were wonderful to us! Those who love the show can't wait to see their favorite medical-clique characters back on their screens, and we're looking forward to seeing where the tale will take them! Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Kim Dae Myung, and Jeon Mi Do star in this film.
Undercover
We at The Honey POP are major lovers of crime dramas, and Undercover will provide fans of the genre with just what they are looking for. It is predicted that the drama would delve into the realities of power. Following Choi Yeon Soo, a human rights lawyer who battles for justice, and Han Jung Hyun, an undercover spy, will be the focus of the series. This drama seems really spicy, and fans of the actors have been looking forward to it for quite some time! Ji Jin Hee, Han Sun Hwa, Kim Hyun Joo, and Yeon Woo Jin star in the film.
